Karlsruhe pools welcome two new trainees

On 1 September, the Karlsruhe swimming pools got a new addition

Charlotte and Lenox-Farrell started their training as pool attendants at the Karlsruhe swimming pools on 1 September. Together with Managing Director and Head of Department Oliver Sternagel and Head of Training Anja Rückbrod, the two were officially welcomed to the team. "We are delighted to welcome Charlotte and Lenox-Farrell to our company. Training to become a pool attendant is varied and offers exciting prospects - from safety and technology to sport and direct contact with our pool guests," emphasised Oliver Sternagel during the welcome speech.

During their three-year training programme, the two junior employees will spend time at all ten swimming pools in Karlsruhe. They will familiarise themselves with different areas such as water treatment, pool supervision, technical maintenance and first aid. "Our aim is to offer young people sound and varied training and to prepare them for their professional future in the best possible way. With Charlotte and Lenox-Farrell, we have gained two committed trainees who will enrich our team," explained training manager Anja Rückbrod.

Karlsruher Bäder employs around 200 people and offers apprenticeships for pool attendants every year. Interested parties can gain an insight into the professional field all year round through internships and find out more directly here.
